Description
Titled “France-Champagne,” Pierre Bonnard used just three colours and the medium of wove paper on linen for this piece. A founding member of the Nabis – a group of artists who deemed themselves paint-engravers. One of the key moments in Bonnard’s rise towards the limelight during early 1890s art development, thanks to his love for lithographs works. Digitally printed onto the contrasting vamp of our Wilde Penny Loafer. Featuring a 25mm compounded rubber sole underfoot.
